Gingerbread Village 2024 at Central City
This year’s Gingerbread Village was a resounding success, with 53 incredible entries submitted for judging. After hours of careful review and meticulous scoring, the Downtown Surrey BIA is delighted to announce the winners as chosen by our esteemed panel of judges.
The 2024 theme, “Storybook,” inspired captivating creations featuring beloved tales such as Harry Potter, Charlotte’s Web, The Three Little Pigs, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Grinch That Stole Christmas, and many more.
Prize Structure:

Currently, all gingerbread creations are on display at Central City Shopping Centre, outside Winners. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorites by donating to the Surrey Christmas Bureau ($1 equals 1 vote). The entry with the most votes will win the People’s Choice Award and a prize of $1000, while the runner-up will receive $500.

This project is a win-win for everyone:

In 2024, over 2300 families will receive support through the Surrey Christmas Bureau, ensuring children have gifts under the tree and families can share meals on Christmas Day.
