Madeleine Nicholls appointed Chief Executive Officer as Perminder Tung steps into the role of Board Chair
A leadership transition marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the Downtown Surrey BIA and the continued evolution of Surrey City Centre.
The Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association (DSBIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Madeleine Nicholls as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Having served as Chief Operating Officer over the past year, Nicholls brings extensive experience in real estate development, urban planning, and city-building initiatives. Her leadership and industry expertise will support the continued growth and momentum of Downtown Surrey as one of the fastest-growing urban centres in British Columbia.
The DSBIA Board of Directors also welcomes Perminder Tung, Partner at Lindsay Kenney LLP, as the organization’s new Board Chair. Together, this leadership team will guide the DSBIA as it continues to support local businesses, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to the ongoing development of Downtown Surrey as a vibrant economic and cultural hub.
